Description

Climate change is putting pressure on mobility infrastructure: heat waves, flooding, water constraints, network saturation, and rapidly changing usage patterns. Faced with this new reality, some local authorities, operators, and manufacturers are already experimenting with solutions to strengthen resilience: adapting materials, renaturation, smart management, modal diversification, and reversible infrastructure. This round table will analyze the levers that enable the sustainable modernization of networks, reconciling climate, performance, and accessibility. The session will highlight pioneering projects, feedback, and transferable methods for anticipating risks and adapting infrastructure. The challenge: to identify the trade-offs, investments, and strategies capable of making mobility truly resilient in the face of climate change.
