FRD-CODEM is a Technological Resource Center (CRT) dedicated to the development of eco-materials and bio-based materials. We support startups, SMEs, mid-sized companies, large corporations, institutions, and local authorities through:
- Studies (market research, strategic planning, biomass availability, supply chain structuring, etc.)
- Customized research contracts (biomass fractionation, materials development in the Transportation, Construction, Textile, Sports and Leisure sectors, particularly in plastics processing, insulation and concrete, panels, etc.)
- Industrial transfer (scaling up, preliminary cost estimates for production lines and factories, partner search, etc.)
- A unique analysis and testing laboratory for the characterization of biomass and building materials
- Eco-design and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
- The supply of custom plant fractions for materials or cosmetics
- Support for market launch (certification, technical evaluation, etc.)
