Description
The "delivery by bike" route is composed of 8 modules with a theoretical part and practical scenarios. It aims to train professionals in the transport of goods by cargo bike: postures and road safety, equipment used, loading and testing of cargo bikes, school tour.
Delivery by cargo bike differs from delivery by motor vehicle both in terms of the equipment used and the methods of loading, sorting goods and organizing tours. Furthermore, driving a cargo bike does not require obtaining a driver’s license but a good knowledge of the highway code and the rules of urban space sharing.
These specificities require the follow-up of training with precise pedagogical objectives and practical scenarios. The course proposed by the Cyclo-cargologie program mobilizes the expertise of the actors of the cyclologistique ecosystem and qualified.ices trainers. The follow-up of the modules in this course is a prerequisite for following two other training courses (dispatch and management).
