The "dispatch" route is composed of 11 modules (including the 8 on the Delivery route). The dispatch profession oversees a central function of cyclology, that of organizing delivery rounds. Among the main objectives: management of stress and unforeseen events, optimization of routes and itineraries, mastery of communication tools and resource management. Total duration: 42 hours
The dispatch job consists of organizing the goods delivery rounds by optimizing the routes according to the available equipment, geographical distribution, delivery slots as well as the human resources available.
The specificities related to cargo bike delivery have an important impact on this pivotal function of the logistics sector: use of dedicated software (TMS), knowledge of rolling stock, responsiveness to unforeseen events and good stress management.
