Mar 26, 2025 — 03:40 pm CET - 4:10 PM CET
Description
Two defenders of Indigenous rights and environmental justice from the 2025 cohort of the Initiative Marianne will share their struggles, testimonies, and hopes for the future of our world’s forests and the rights of the Indigenous peoples who inhabit them.
This session will be moderated by Laura D’Astorg, Director General of the Alliance for the Preservation of Forests.
These testimonies remind us that the fight for the preservation of the world's forests and the defense of Indigenous peoples' rights is a collective struggle, one that concerns the future of our planet and generations to come. Their commitment, resilience, and vision serve as an inspiration to all those who aspire to a more just and sustainable world.
