Victorian, a Merchant Marine general officer, has sailed on various types of merchant ships to the Antarctic. But this professional sailor also skimmed the podiums of the offshore race for about ten years, on the Route du Rhum, the transat Jacques Vabre or the Québec-St Malo. At one of those transatlantic events, when a diesel generator in the middle of the Atlantic ran out of gas and was unable to run his machine while he was surrounded by solar, wind and tidal energy, Victorian realized that the greatest victories are those that make sense. And decided to invest in the race for energy intelligence rather than the race for trophies.
