Description
Heat is an unknown and underestimated use of energy. In the midst of the energy and climate crisis, few are aware that heat, mainly produced with gas, represents 45% of our energy uses, and that its production emits in total 5 times more greenhouse gases than electricity production.
This round table provides an overview of renewable heat production in France, its financing, its sectors and their characteristics. In particular, a zoom will be carried out on two tracks that can efficiently cover low temperature heat needs: solar thermal and geothermal.
