Why and how should companies contribute to the regeneration of biodiversity ?
While 40% of the world’s economy depends on life, the erosion of biodiversity poses a real threat to economic activities. But it is still possible to reverse the curve. Reducing impacts on biodiversity is a prerequisite but will not be enough. Companies must transform their production and financial models to become full players in the regeneration of biodiversity.

Accelerating the Ecological Transition of the Territories: WES Fund Recipients
Created in 2021 at the initiative of LISEA, concessionaire of the South Atlantic Europe high-speed line (SEA LGV), and MESEA, maintainer of the line, the SEA Fund for the transition of territories, has an envelope of 3 million euros until 2026. It aims to support projects related to social and professional integration, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the preservation of biodiversity. The SEA Fund focuses its action on the ecological and solidarity transition issues of the agriculture and building sectors. In 2021, €1 million was invested in sustainable buildings. Its action is consistent with public policies and complements existing support mechanisms. It reflects the long-term commitment of LISEA and MESEA to stakeholders in the territories crossed by the LGV SEA (Charente, Charente maritime, Gironde, Indre et Loire, Deux Sèvres, Vienne).

Changing the world of interior construction, step by step, without renunciation
The construction industry is one of the most polluting human activities in the world. It is the most ecocidal. In other words, we believe we can survive by destroying our planet… Lauranne Schied very quickly became aware of the considerable carbon impact that her industry is bearing and in the face of this decides to take responsibility to create LSRE, a company of green real estate development and committed to transform what must be, not after step. There are no small steps for the planet, there are only great renunciations. 🌍 Changing our gaze to become aware of the danger that awaits us. Changing our ways of doing things to change the course of the world. Change our industries from the inside to change mentalities and bring our generation up to the challenges we face. Preserving the climate is the raison d'être of our company LSRE. For us, it was obvious. We tell you everything.

Carbon fund, carbon contribution: how to contribute to carbon neutrality in an ambitious and coherent way as a company
Carbon neutrality, as we know, is an absolute imperative if we want to meet climate targets and stay below the +2°C threshold. Yet no activity or business is "carbon neutral". After measuring and reducing our carbon emissions, there are inevitably residual or unavoidable emissions. Thus, companies today have the opportunity and responsibility to contribute to global carbon neutrality outside their value chain, by supporting projects that sequester or avoid carbon emissions. What are the concrete solutions? What types of projects should be supported? How can their quality be ensured? How to avoid falling into greenwashing? Two experts on the subject, one expert on voluntary carbon contributions and the other on the implementation of carbon funds, provide you with concrete insights and answers to your questions !
