Enercoop is a network of 13 cooperatives that works and campaigns in local areas for a local, citizen-led and solidarity-based energy transition. For 20 years, Enercoop has kept its promise to supply its customers with 100% renewable electricity, produced by more than 500 French production sites, two-thirds of which belong to citizen collectives and/or local authorities. Its supply has earned Enercoop's electricity offer for private individuals the label ‘very committed choice’ from ADEME's VertVolt label.
The cooperative network bases its development on several activities:
- production and supply of 100% renewable, local and citizen-owned electricity,
- solar engineering offices,
- thermal engineering offices,
- Qualiopi-certified training organisation.
