Description

BIOTANAH, for sustainable, competitive, and equitable heating Building and urban heating = The AGROWATT innovation addresses the challenges of the building sector in our rural and semi-urban areas by contributing to the decarbonization of these regions and their energy sovereignty, while fostering the development of a local, competitive, and equitable economy. The solution combines two innovations: the AGROWATT Box for the autonomous production of biofuels by farmers, and the AGROWATT Burner for converting existing fossil fuel boilers into multi-biomass heating plants. Currently being tested to heat a school in the Hautes-Pyrénées region of Occitanie, the goal is now to deploy AGROWATT in Southwest France and then throughout the rest of the country. Agricultural and agri-food heating: The MEDA (Mobil Eco Dryer for Agriculture) innovation addresses the challenges of food security and decarbonization in the rice, corn, and wheat sectors in developing countries by enabling optimal and carbon-free local drying of grain. Comprising a multi-biomass combustion unit, a regulated hot air generator, and a circulating drying tower, the solution is currently being tested with the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture. Following the trials in Indonesia, the objective is now to deploy the MEDA solution on a large scale in Indonesia and to launch its development for drying solutions in France for the agricultural and agri-food sectors.
