Description

An agricultural engineer with a degree in Water and Forestry, water has been the common thread running through Aude Witten's career, with around ten years' experience in Brittany working on water quality issues at the prefecture and then within the Brittany region. She then turned her attention to natural hazards and crisis management, joining the head of the Vigicrues network, which is responsible for operational flood forecasting throughout France. Since 2021, she has been Deputy Director General in charge of the Adour-Garonne water agency's intervention programme.
